Thomas a Kempis:

Nu vind ik van deze Nederlandse filosoof echt nergens een vertaling die er maar enigszins op lijkt; al zijn citaten hebben namelijk een sterk godsdienstig karakter.
Ik voeg er nog 1 aan toe van soortgelijke strekking:
"Verbeter de wereld, begin bij je zelf".... anoniem
Zeker toepasselijk voor mij bij de start van 
On Ali's blog I followed the link to her mothers blog. There I read this quote of Thomas a Kempis:
"First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others."
Well I can't find any Dutch translation of this one for all his quotes are much more religious then this one.
I give you another kind of this quote (in a free ;) translation):
"Improve the world by starting at yourself".... anonymous
So appropriate to me at the start of the 'Finding you' workshop of Corinne Delis.
