Bouwdorp - Building a village

Elke herfstvakantie organiseert de oudere jeugd in ons dorp een Bouwdorp voor de jeugd van 7 t/m 12 jaar: een superleuk initiatief wat ik als moeder van twee game-boys heel erg waardeer! Zo lekker dat ze die hele week buiten zijn! Ze kijken er al ruim van te voren naar uit, maken op school afspraken om een hut te gaan bouwen en Ivo had met timmermaatje Richard zelfs een 'bouwontwerp' gemaakt. Tussen de middag zijn ze van 12 tot 13.30 uur thuis om op te warmen en weer aan te sterken voor de middag!

Every fall vacation the elderly youth of our village helps the younger children to build a village. As a concerning mother of two game-boys I really appreciate this initiative. I'm so happy to know they will be outside that week ;)

They look forward to go, make appointments at school en Ivo and his buildingmate Richard even made a plan this year. They're home for lunch to warm up and get enough energy for

the rest of the day...
